The Boniface & Paulina Okafor Memorial Hospital and Family Care (BAPOM) was established July 6, 2016. The mission of BAPOM is to provide social and medical care to the needy in eastern Nigeria who are not financially able to take care of their basic human needs. The Government does not provide any social or medical services to the residents except immunization for children. Through the fundraising efforts and generosity of many supporters, a fully functional medical hospital has been built to help meet the growing need of providing quality health care to the people. We are grateful to all those who helped make this dream a reality for so many in need. However, we need to furnish the hospital!
Our goal is to raise funds to purchase important and essential equipment for the hospital. The funds will be used to purchase a Hematology Analyzer which is used to count and identify blood cells at high speed with accuracy, a Hormone Profile machine which is used to measure hormone levels for imbalance and water tanks to provide water to the hospital.
